Wanting To Be In Love

A young women thought about how unhappy she was because things were not going very well in her life. The type of men she was encountering was not good.  All she wanted was a person she could fall in love with, someone who was kind and enjoyed doing similar things that she enjoyed.

She went to different events and encountered men but the men she met were just looking for a good time, they weren’t boyfriend material.

Once she was complaining to an old guy friend of hers, about how hard it was for her to find someone and how depressed and unhappy she was with her life. He said, maybe you should try to be a little happier. Every time I see you, you are unhappy about something. She was very surprised and denied the truth of the statement.

It’s funny how we don’t notice what other people notice. Usually when you are unhappy, you walk different, your posture is slumped and people see sadness in your face.

Usually friends, family, and co workers are able to sense when you are in a good or bad mood.  Just one look and they can tell something is wrong.   Most of the time our emotions are visible and others are able to sense a certain state of mind.

The state of  mind that you are in is very important when you are looking for a partner. If you are sad and your life is not going the way you want, pay attention to how you are behaving. Many times the type of person you are attracting is because of what energy you are sending.  If you are happy and confident in what you want in life, usually you will attract a similar person.

You can’t walk around sad and depressed and think you will find a great guy who is the opposite of you.

Someone who is happy and moving in a healthy direction is not looking for someone who is unhealthy.

You have to first see  the truth before you can change the pattern. Once you see what other people see, you will be able to change the behavior and move in a more positive direction.
